Shop Smart, Cook Savvy

Utilita Energy’s pioneering ‘cost of cooking’ research underpinned a game-changing collaboration with Iceland Foods, setting it head and shoulders above all other supermarkets.

Urged to act upon Utilita’s research, which revealed that an air fryer uses half the energy an oven uses, Iceland introduced air fryer cooking instructions on 600 product lines.

This award-winning campaign has been mentioned over 1,000 times across UK media in the 18 months since launch and is the gift that keeps giving. Recently, Tesco announced it will follow Iceland’s lead, using Utilita’s research, and will introduce air fryer instructions on their packaging, too.

Happy pocket, happy planet!
